smoker for the last 30 years, I had tried many things to quit including the patch, gum, Zyban and Champix, etc.... Nothing
had worked until now! A friend in Taiwan gave me an e-cig for a gift and it was one of the best things ever to come my way!
I could not believe how many people have never heard of these things so I decided to let everybody know and try to make
a business at the same time. After some research into different models and manufacturing processes, I noticed not all were
created equal. The type of material used in production for most models from China results in an inferior and generally
unreliable end product. I am a Canadian born guy that happened to love Taiwan so it made sense to up and move here after I
started this business to keep a better control on quality and production of our product. Our products manufactured in Taiwan
have passed all required certifications for entry into most countries, unlike most of our competitions products!
The following are frequently asked questions from our customers. They are intended to help you better understand electronic
cigarettes as well as troubleshoot any issues you may be having.
What is an Electronic
Cigarette?
An Electronic Cigarette is a device used to provider an alternate way to deliver nicotine to the user.
It is intended to help people quit smoking traditional cigarettes and is not intended to cure, diagnose, prevent or mitigate
any disease or condition.
How does it work?
Electronic Cigarettes work
by heating up a liquid that is found inside the cartridge (end you puff from) portion of the device. When you inhale, you
activate the battery which sends power to the end LED light to turn on to simulate the ember of a real cigarette. The battery
then also provides power to the cartridge which contains the atomizer (wick).
When the atomizer (wick) heats up,
it activates the vegetable glycerin to produce the vapor. A fog machine works the same way when you pour propylene glycol
over a heated element and use a fan to blow it onto a theater stage.
When you inhale you take in the vapor which
contains the nicotine and the it is then delivered to your system.
Who should not
use an Electronic Cigarette?
Woman who are breast feeding, pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant should not use
an electronic cigarette. Also people who have demonstrated an allergy or or sensitivity to nicotine should not use electronic
cigarettes. If you suffer from heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure or asthma, you should check with your doctor prior
to use electronic cigarettes.
How long should a battery charge?
A Battery
will take approx 1-2 hours to charge. It is very important not to overcharge the battery as this may effect the overall
battery life. When the charger indicates the battery has charged, be sure to remove it from the charger.
How long does a cartridge last?
Alot of companies will say a cartridge will last the
same as 50 packs of traditional cigarettes. Still in our opinion this number is too high. We feel a cartridge will last
for approx 350 puffs with 2 puffs being the equivalent to 1 traditional cigarette. When the flavor is not there
anymore and the vapor is not visible enough, then its time to change your cartridge. Results may vary with different types
of cartridges and flavours.
Does it compare to smoking a real cigarette?
Yes, it is very close to smoking the real thing! With
the variety of flavours available it will taste like a normal cigarette and the vapour will look just like a normal puff of
smoke from a real cigarette.
Does an e-cig cost less than smoking?
Yes, depending on usage it
can cost less than 1/16 the price of real cigarettes!
Can anyone use an e-cig?
Yes, anyone can
use them including teens if they are the "Zero" nicotine model. A great way for parents to help thier teens stop
smoking, especially with the huge increase in popularity of flavoured singles at most convenience stores today! This allows
your teen to maintain the "cool" image without the damage to thier health!
Where can I smoke an e-cig?
Anywhere
you like! An e-cig is not a tobacco product and not governed by the same laws as no smoking legislation! Smoke on a plane
or in the hospital or at the pub....anywhere!!
